The company has enhanced its Investment Solutions Builder (ISB) tool with an automatic rebalancing feature. Advisers now have the ability to rebalance asset-allocation models on a quarterly, semi-annual, annual or on a specific date basis. ISB is an online investment tool that enables advisers to build and manage retirement plan fund lineups and asset allocation models for plan sponsors and participants.
According to the firm, it has made enrollment and education faster and easier. Nationwide has 23 field service representatives who can assist advisers with participant education. Approximately 40% of this team is bilingual, and the team is now equipped with tablet enrollment kits which can be used on-site during enrollment meetings. Tablet enrollment helps increase enrollment rates by making the enrollment process faster, easier and more accurate, Nationwide says.
Nationwide also introduced FastSend, a new tool that makes it easier to communicate with plan sponsors and participants. In just a few, easy steps, advisers with Nationwide accounts can mail any communication to plan sponsors, participants or a select group. With FastSend, Nationwide does the busy work of printing, packaging, addressing and mailing.
