The mission of The Plan Sponsor University is to educate and train employers to better manage their corporate retirement plans on behalf of their participants, help improve outcomes and introduce plan sponsors to plan advisers who can help them accomplish these goals.
TPSU offers employers responsible for company retirement plan oversight the opportunity to increase their knowledge and expertise in areas such as retirement plan design and operation, management of their fiduciary obligations, and improving outcomes for participants. Upon completion of the program, the enrollee receives certification as a C(k)PS – Certified 401(k) Plan Specialist.
TPSU courses and curriculum will be offered regionally around the country, and will be conducted by local plan advisers beginning in spring of 2013.
