NY Life Issues 401(k) Planning Videos
A series of animated “whiteboards,” released by New York Life Retirement Plan Services, aims to illustrate prominent 401(k) planning concepts for employer-sponsored retirement plan participants.
Reported by
John Manganaro
The videos tie together animation and narration on core topics in the 401(k) planning space, such as investing early to take advantage of compounding returns or the importance of taking full advantage of a company’s contribution match.
New York Life published the videos under the title “The MyLifeNow Chronicles,” and now offers the suite as a standard part of its plan participant communications platform. Additional video materials are slated for release in early 2014 on the topics of 401(k) loans, asset allocation strategies and managed account programs for defined contribution (DC) plan participants.
