April 4 is National Employee Benefits Day

The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) is celebrating National Employee Benefits Day with a special Web site for the occasion.

The IFEBP encourages those with benefit responsibilities including trustees, administrators, practitioners and professional advisers to use the day to recognize themselves and their colleagues for their hard work and dedication in providing quality benefits. Employers are also encouraged to involve their employees in the celebration by reviewing the benefits offered by their organization to increase awareness and understanding.

The National Employee Benefits Day Web site has numerous resources to help employers prepare for the day including communicating benefits tips, a full list of benefits employers can offer, and helpful government resources.

In addition, the site has suggestions of how to celebrate, free e-cards and posters, and Benefits Day premium items, including a National Employee Benefit Day mug and t-shirts. National Employee Benefits Day was created in 2004 by the IFEBP and is celebrated annually each April.
