Vanguard Web Tool Explains Target-Date Glide Paths
The Vanguard Group has added a new interactive target-date glide path tool to its Web site to help participants better understand how the asset allocations of the its Target Retirement Funds become more conservative over time.
Reported by
Fred Schneyer
The tool enables the user to obtain a fund’s asset allocation among U.S. and international stocks; nominal and inflation-protected bonds; and cash equivalents for each year through a specific fund’s stated retirement date and five years beyond.
It also includes a summary of fees associated with the target-date funds and a listing of the management of each offering.
The tool is available here.
