Tenn. Firm Appoints VP Retirement Services

A Nashville, Tennessee, service provider has tapped Courtenay Shipley as vice president, Retirement Services.

A news release said Shipley will be responsible for expanding A.D. Vallett & Company’s third-party recordkeeping service and 401(k) platform, and relationship development for its open-architecture 401(k) product.

Shipley has eight years of retirement services experience with a focus in defined contribution plans, participant services and education, and retirement planning.

She most recently served for four years as a Retire Secure employee benefit specialist for Principal Financial Group’s retirement services division. Previously, she was an account administrator at Ward Financial Advisory of Wachovia Securities and a representative for The Horace Mann Companies.
