Mercer Names Head of Investment Management for U.S. Region
Mercer has named Senior Partner Tom Murphy as Head of its Investment Management business for the U.S. region, effective September 1, 2011.

Murphy will report to Rich Nuzum, president and global business leader of Mercer’s Investment Management business. He will remain a member of Mercer’s global Investment Management leadership team, and will be based in Boston.
Prior to this role, Murphy served as Mercer’s Head of Investment Management for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Murphy has been with the company since 1997, holding positions of increasing responsibility, including Business Leader of Investment Consulting in Ireland. He holds an MBA from the University College in Dublin, Ireland.
