Mercer Appoints DC Market Leader

Consulting firm Mercer appointed Scott Jarboe as the next leader of retirement-related consulting services in the firm’s Baltimore and Washington, D.C., markets.

Jarboe, a partner and 20-year veteran at Mercer, specializes in advising clients on integrated financial management strategies that incorporate program design, cash funding and investment policies. He holds a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Maryland at College Park and is a member of the Society of Actuaries, the American Academy of Actuaries, and the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, among other industry designations.

Jarboe will collaborate with Mercer staff in the Baltimore and Washington markets to design and implement sustainable retirement programs that manage past commitments, plan for the future, and engage the work force. He will also work with client firm’s beyond the retirement plan to implement solutions to help achieve business and fiduciary objectives.
