ING Introduces Contribution Rate Calculator
ING added a calculator to its Web site to help demonstrate the
potential long-term financial impact of retirement plan contribution
rate changes.

According to a press release, a recent ING survey indicated that plan participants lack a clear understanding of contribution rates and the lifetime value of even small increases. Very few of those surveyed consult outside resources in determining their contribution levels, and when asked to estimate the lifetime value of a 2% increase in their contribution rate, only a small percentage could even come close.
