EBSA Fiduciary Seminar Comes to Pasadena

Next month employers and plan fiduciaries in the Los Angeles, California area will get a chance to better understand their fiduciary responsibilities.

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) will sponsor another of its free retirement plan seminars in Pasadena on January 28 at the Pasadena Public Library Auditorium.

The seminar, “Getting It Right—Know Your Fiduciary Responsibilities,” is part of EBSA’s national fiduciary education campaign to increase awareness and understanding of basic responsibilities associated with operating private-sector retirement plans.

The seminar is open to employers, plan fiduciaries, and providers of plan services.  It will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PT.

Registration for the free event is first-come, first-served, with limited spaces available. Contact Patricia Humphlett at humphlett.patricia@dol.gov or 202.693.8660 to register. Registration can also be faxed to 202.219.8141.
