Castle Rock Hires Consultant

Castle Rock Investment Company (CRIC) hired Molly Vogt Noyes as a consultant.

Noyes will be responsible for cultivating relationships with plan sponsors in need of fee-only investment advice and ERISA fiduciary services for their 401(k), 403(b) and 457 retirement plans.    

Formerly the vice president, regional retirement director for Columbia Management Distributors Inc., Noyes brings more than 16 years of experience in the defined contribution, employee benefit and mutual fund industries. She also worked as a district manager for Automatic Data Processing (ADP), a 401(k) consultant with American Skandia and a senior retirement client specialist for T. Rowe Price.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Florida Southern College.

Lincoln Financial Group Appoints CMO

Lincoln Financial Group named Donna MacFarland chief marketing officer of its Retirement Plan Services business.

In this role, MacFarland provides strategic leadership for Retirement Plan Services marketing initiatives including the development of integrated business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing strategies. She also provides strategic leadership to and management of the Retirement Plan Services Participant Communications and Education offering, which focuses on creating better participant outcomes.

She reports directly to Chuck Cornelio, president of Retirement Plan Services for Lincoln.

MacFarland was hired at Lincoln in May 2010 as marketing director with more than 25 years of marketing leadership experience with a focus in the financial services and retirement plans sectors.

Before joining Lincoln, she was founder and president of Symphonic Marketing LLC, a marketing strategy consultancy focused on partnering with companies to drive growth through insights generation and marketing planning. Previously, MacFarland held senior brand management and marketing positions with The Vanguard Group Inc., Merrill Lynch, Citibank and Smith Barney.
