AllianceBernstein Hires Exec for Business Development Team
AllianceBernstein hired Edmund Grant as a managing director for business development and client services for institutional investors.

Grant will work with the Fixed Income and Alternative Investment teams, and will report to John W. Akkerman, senior managing director – Alternatives/Fixed Income, Global Institutions. Grant is based out of the firm’s Philadelphia and New York offices.
Previously, Grant was with Delaware Investments for 15 years, serving as vice president of institutional sales and client service. He began his career at AIG Global Equities and spent eight years as a combat engineer officer in the U.S. Army Reserve. He earned a B.S. and an MBA from Drexel University and is a CFA Charter holder.
