Firm Offers Checklist for Participant Fee Disclosures
Plan
sponsors are preparing for the first participant fee disclosures to be issued
by August 30.
Reported by PLANADIVSER staff
To help with this effort, and with fee disclosures ongoing, ERISAdiagnostics Inc. created a §404(a)(5) Participant Disclosure Checklist.
The checklist outlines all the plan-related and investment-related information that must be provided to Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) defined contribution (DC) plan participants. It also lists the information that must be included in the comparative chart.
The checklist includes items required for new participant disclosures, annual disclosures and disclosures that are required at least quarterly.
The checklist is here.
