Firm Releases New eFiduciary.net Version

A Rochester, New York-based software developer, has unveiled a new version of its eFiduciary.net Web application.

A news release from FCRC Apps said version 2.0 is built on a new architecture, has an expanded best practices tool box, a broadened collaboration reach, and a new practice management platform.

According to the announcement, the application is a fiduciary governance tool for consultants and their investment fiduciary clients that is designed to promote fiduciary best practices and strong governance by providing among other things, real-time committee collaboration, document retention and retrieval, along with a variety of consultant practice management tools.

The company said it expects to go the market with another release in late 2010.

Transamerica “Unlocks” Social Security

A new education program from Transamerica gives advisers non-product specific guidance to help them educate their clients about Social Security, according to a recent announcement. 

The program, “Unlocking Social Security,” was designed to meet the needs of the 78 million Baby Boomers who are expected to retire over the next 20 years and their advisers. According to a recent statement, the guide provides information on Social Security, helping advisers start conversations with their clients about maximizing benefits and calculating lifetime income.
