Online Community for Advisers Promotes Sharing Best Practices

eMoney Advisor, a provider of Web-based wealth management and planning solutions for financial advisers, has launched Ask eMoney, an online community for advisory firms.

Ask eMoney is an interactive resource dealing with industry trends, technology advice, and best practices, the Conshohocken, Pennsylvania-based company explained.  It was designed to make information easily accessible and to eliminate common frustrations advisers and their teams experience as a business grows. At launch, the site included more than 200 articles, videos, tips, and tutorials.

eMoney subscribers can get Ask eMoney on the system’s Advisor Dashboard.  Subscribers can post comments and share information, opinions, and ideas. Nonsubscribers can also access some of the content by visiting http://ask.emoneyadvisor.com

Web Site Helps Advisers Monetize Social Media

A new Web site is offering financial advisers social media support, intended to increase their client base.

The site, OnlineAdvisorCentral.com, was created by the founders of MyFinancialAdvice.com, a site designed to enable financial planners to connect with middle-income Americans.

Online Advisor Central is meant to complement My Financial Advice by incorporating the use of social media to engage potential clients. The site offers online video training, peer support, ongoing one-on-one assistance, and “monetization” tools to conduct advice sessions online.
