Morgan Stanley Investment Management Offers Online Alts Investing Classes
The Alternatives Investing Center provides live and on-demand courses discussing how to incorporate alternative strategies into client portfolios.
Morgan Stanley Investment Management has launched its Alternatives Investing Center, an online education platform for financial advisers to learn about alternative asset classes and how to incorporate alternative strategies into client portfolios.
The online curriculum, which covers public and private markets, includes learning modules, live and on-demand courses, investment guides, expert insights and other resources. Nine learning seminars cover topics such as private equity and credit, real estate, hedge funds, infrastructure and venture capital.
“New investment structures are making alternatives more accessible, more flexible and more aligned with the needs of individual investors and their advisers,” said Frank Famiglietti, MSIM’s head of intermediary distribution for alternatives, in a statement. “Navigating the different structures and vehicles while harnessing information in new ways can set advisers apart.”
The debut live webinar on portfolio construction and asset allocation takes place on October 7.
