Loring Ward Launches Turnkey Retirement Program

Loring Ward has hired Heather Hooper to launch LWTR as the Vice President of Retirement Strategies, a new position for the company. LWTR will allow advisers to offer a range of retirement plan solutions, including 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), profit sharing, defined benefit, and hybrid 401(k)/defined benefit plans.
Before joining Loring Ward, Hooper was Chief Operating Officer at NextStep Defined Contribution, Inc., where she was responsible for daily operations, fund management, trading, plan implementation, administration, IT, and relationship management.
“Loring Ward Total Retirement represents a real innovation in the retirement plan marketplace,” Hooper said. “I am excited about the opportunity to build on its capabilities and continue to expand the number of advisers and plans we serve.”
