New hires for the firm include Brian Lighty, Todd Engman and Andrea Donaldson.
The expansion is meant to allow LFD to provide more personalized attention to its clients, says Peter Sims, head of Lincoln’s intermediary retirement plan sales. The three new sales directors report to Drew Disher, western divisional sales manager.
Lightly will cover the northern Illinois region for LFD. His earlier jobs include service as vice president of central region platform sales for ING Corporate Markets, where Lightly was accountable for sales processes in the retail, broker/dealer and financial institutions channels.
Lighty holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licenses and served as a corporal in the United States Marine Corps.
Engman will cover western Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. Before joining LFD, Engman was a senior qualified plans business development manager for Ameriprise Financial, where he was responsible for executing field initiatives to grow the firm’s qualified plans business.
Engman received a B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
Donaldson will cover Arizona, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas. Prior to LFD, Donaldson worked as vice president of business development for Boyce & Associates Inc where she was responsible for maintaining and leveraging relationships with financial advisers and CPAs to achieve new business.
Donaldson received an associate’s degree in business administration from Southeast Technical Institute, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
