FRA/PlanTools Names Fiduciary Oversight Director

Thomas E. Clark, Jr. was named director of fiduciary oversight at Fiduciary Risk Assessment (FRA)/PlanTools.

Clark will be responsible for providing retirement plan sponsors and covered service providers with risk mitigation strategies designed to protect the participant, as well as maintaining oversight of FRA’s fiduciary governance program distributed to plan sponsors and service providers. He will perform fiduciary assessments and implement fiduciary governance strategies that protect the plan sponsor and participant by mitigating fiduciary risk.

Clark also will work with FRA’s Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) adviser evaluator request for proposal system consulting practice. 

Clark previously worked at the law firm of Schlichter, Bogard & Denton, where he was part of an effort that dealt with recent fee disclosure policies from the Department of Labor.
