Anthropic Launches Claude for Financial Advisors

Anthropic PBC debuted on Monday Claude for Financial Advisors, an artificial intelligence suite designed to help with advisers’ research, meeting preparation, portfolio analysis, documentation tasks and compliance checks.

The suite includes “connectors,” which let Claude access custodians, asset managers and wealth technology providers. The Claude for Financial Advisors plugin, which bundles advisor skills and connectors into a single install, works with BlackRock, Charles Schwab, Addepar, Envestnet, iCapital, Orion, Wealthbox, Wealth.com and Zocks.

Some of Anthropic’s partners also offer their own plugins: BlackRock is launching one for Advisor Center, joining existing plugins from S&P Global and LSEG.

According to the announcement, Claude for Financial Advisors can be programmed to pull data from alternative investments from iCapital or Addepar, highlight content that may warrant additional compliance review, conduct estate and tax brief checks, and flag drift and concentrated positions against a client’s target allocation.

Claude for Financial Advisors is currently accessible through Enterprise plans for RIAs.

Orion Launches MCP Connector for Claude With Anthropic

Orion Advisory Solutions expanded its collaboration with Anthropic PBC, launching Orion’s model context protocol connector for Claude for Financial Advisors. Using Orion’s connector within the Claude for Financial Advisors plugin, advisers can ask for a client update, meeting prep or a read on their pipeline in plain language and get an answer assembled from their own live Orion Connect portfolio data and Redtail CRM records.

The new plugin collapses the work of pulling reports from one system, checking relationship history in another and reassembling the context by hand into one conversation with Claude. The plugin respects an adviser’s existing Orion and Redtail permissions, while giving firms firmwide controls and governance over access, so advisers see only what they are entitled to see.

The Orion MCP connector functions as an integration between Orion and Claude and is available now in Anthropic’s Claude connector directory.

As of June 30, Orion serviced $6.6 trillion in assets under administration and $211 billion of wealth management assets, as well as supporting more than 8.6 million technology accounts.

As part of the partnership, Arca embedded Altruist’s Realtime Custodial API directly into its proprietary AI platform. The integration enables Arca’s wealth management AI agents to streamline core client and operational workflows.

FinTurk Launches PortfolioSolver, Vigil

FinTurk, an artificial intelligence client relationship management tool built specifically for financial advisers, debuted PortfolioSolver and Vigil, platform capabilities designed to help registered investment advisers manage portfolios and stay ahead of critical tasks across their practices.

PortfolioSolver simplifies personalized portfolio construction by allowing advisers to enter client-specific investment constraints in their own words. FinTurk translates those instructions into structured rules for adviser approval before a deterministic optimizer builds a proposed set of trades that accounts for the client’s requirements together.

Vigil extends that proactive approach across the adviser’s broader practice, continuously monitoring connections, portfolios and accounts, tasks and inboxes to identify items that need attention. The system can flag issues including failed data syncs, cash thresholds, stalled workflows, upcoming deadlines and client emails requiring a response, while also running recurring checks automatically.

FinTurk integrates with advisers’ existing technology stacks, including portfolio management, document management, productivity and communication platforms, allowing firms to add new capabilities without disrupting existing workflows. It connects client, account, portfolio and communication data while integrating with the custodians and applications firms already use.
