RIA Burney gives Goldman Advisor Solutions another win; LPL advisers now have access to PreciseFP client engagement tools; Cetera adds YChart research and communications platforms.

Burney Adds Goldman Advisor Solutions as Custody Provider

Registered investment advisory Burney Co., which manages $2.4 billion in client assets, will add Goldman Sachs Advisor Solutions as a custody provider for its alternatives platform and personalized service model.

Burney joins $210 billion RIA Creative Planning LLC in making a recent addition of Goldman’s solutions. Burney provides clients with personalized portfolios, financial plans and financial advice.

“GSAS offers a superior alternatives platform, enabling our advisors to access sophisticated solutions that extend beyond the traditional 60/40 model,” Adam Newman, managing partner at Burney, said in a statement. “By using GSAS’ platform to execute a cost-efficient alternatives strategy, we’re better able to serve the financial objectives of our clients’ unique needs.”

Goldman Sachs Advisor Solutions is a brand of Folio Investments Inc., a subsidiary of The Goldman Sachs Group Inc.

PreciseFP Partners With LPL Financial on Client Data-Gathering Solution

Client engagement and data-gathering platform PreciseFP is providing LPL Financial Holdings Inc.’s 21,000 financial advisers and 1,100 affiliate enterprises with client engagement tools.

Precise FP, owned by Docupace, has inked a partnership to “make manual data entry a thing of the past for financial advisers,” according to an announcement.

“We are thrilled to partner with LPL Financial to bring to their network of advisers the technology, solutions and data-gathering tools financial professionals need to simplify the process of collecting client data,” Richard Thoeny, executive vice president of product strategy for PreciseFP, said in a statement. “Manual data entry does not add value to the adviser-client relationship. Our purpose is to empower financial advisers to spend more of their valuable time on what’s most important to their firm and its clients.”

PreciseFP seeks to eliminate manual data entry by digitizing the client engagement process. It automatically shares data with customer relationship management systems, financial planning software and other tools advisers use, with the goal of saving time and increasing productivity for RIAs and wealth management firms.

Cetera, YCharts Partner on Client Communications, Research Platform

Investment research platform YCharts Inc. is partnering with registered investment advisory Cetera Financial Group Inc. to offer affiliated advisers YCharts’ investment research and client communications platforms.

“We’re pleased to partner with YCharts to offer our advisers access to YCharts’ innovative software, which will help teams grow and scale their practices more efficiently and effectively,” George Karris, head of strategy and adviser experience at Cetera.

Cetera has about 8,000 affiliated financial professionals with $330 billion in assets under administration and $116 billion in assets under management.
