BMO Hires Director of Retirement Sales and Strategy

 

BMO Retirement Services appointed Matt Smith as director of retirement sales and strategy.

 

 

Smith is responsible for building and further defining the firm’s holistic approach to providing solutions to the U.S. retirement plan market. He also provides thought leadership about critical retirement issues in concert with the BMO Retirement Institute.

Smith reports to Phil Enochs, Managing Director and Head of Relationship Management for BMO Global Asset Management.

Before joining BMO Retirement Services, Smith was senior vice president and national DC practice leader of Aon Consulting. He has also served as managing director of retirement for Russell Investment Group, general manager of Retirement Services at ADP and DC consultant for Buck Consultants.

Smith earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas.
 

 

ABG Expands Website Information

Alliance Benefit Group North Central States, Inc. launched a redesigned website. 

The site sports a new theme and provides advisers and employers with information about the company’s retirement plans, payroll processing, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, health reimbursement arrangements, transportation savings accounts, and Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) programs. The new site also provides access to educational resources including interactive savings calculators, video tutorials, Q&A sections and information about clients’ plans, accounts and transaction activity.
