CPI Adds Russell Investments to Platform

CPI Qualified Plan Consultants has added the mutual funds of Russell Investments to its retirement plan platform.

The CPI platform offers defined contribution plan sponsors technologies in a daily valuation environment. The company said the addition of Russell Investments furthers its goal of providing depth, choice and enhanced flexibility to financial advisers, defined contribution plan sponsors and their retirement plan participants.

“Russell and CPI are both focused on helping advisers; that is what made this partnership a good strategic fit for both of us,” said  Ben Jones, director of defined contribution at Russell Investments.

Russell Brings Adviser Site to Mobile Devices

Russell Investments has introduced a mobile application based on its adviser-facing website.

Russell Investments launched Helpingadvisors.com in 2009 to provide its adviser clients with tools and insights to better serve their own clients, and to help them build successful practices (see “Russell Launches Site To Help Advisers”).

The new mobile app features some of the most popular components of the Helping Advisors site, Russell says, including the Economic Recovery Dashboard (now called the Economic Indicators Dashboard), which can help advisers evaluate the economy in the wake of the global financial crisis, the Helping Advisors blog and the Business Cycle Index.
