USI Consulting Hires Associate VP and Actuary

Lisa Larsen was hired as an associate vice president and actuary by USI Consulting Group.

Larsen has extensive experience in retirement planning, as an actuary and human resources consultant, and has 13 years of experience as an in-house corporate actuary involved in all types of benefit plans, both domestically and internationally. She was with a national actuarial firm for the last eight years and before that was the in-house actuary for Electronic Data Systems, a multinational IT company in Texas.

Larsen holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in actuarial mathematics from the University of Michigan. She is the director of continuing education for Enrolled Actuaries for the Actuaries’ Club of Hartford/Springfield, and is a member and past treasurer of Worldwide Employee Benefits Network.

Topics include fund advertising, rules by FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), advertising past performance and global investment performance standards.
