Transamerica Nabs Hughes from M&I
Transamerica Retirement Services has named Charmaine Hughes as vice president of business development.

A news release said Hughes will be responsible for deepening Transamerica’s distribution relationships with broker-dealer firms.
She will be based in Milwaukee and will report to Kelly Michel, senior vice president of Institutional Sales and Business Development. Her hiring is effective immediately.
Hughes has almost two decades of professional marketing, sales and management experience, including eight years in retirement product development. She joins Transamerica from M&I Institutional Trust Services, where she was vice president and national director, Emerging Business Retirement Plan Services.
