New hires for Transamerica include Bryan Schultheis and Michelle Bower, who both join the firm as vice presidents within the specialist adviser channel.
The two will report to Deborah Rubin, senior vice president of third party administrator (TPA) and specialist adviser distribution for Transamerica. Together, the specialist adviser team supports clients with expertise on regulatory, compliance, fiduciary, investment, plan design and participant education issues.
Before joining Transamerica, Bower worked as regional vice president for AXA Equitable. She has specialized in company-sponsored retirement plans for more than 20 years and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. She is based in Southern California.
Schultheis joins Transamerica after serving as regional sales manager for ASPire and brings more than a decade of experience in retirement plans. Schultheis received an M.B.A. from Saint Leo University. He is based in Tampa, Florida.
