Scottrade has New Head of Adviser Services
Brian Davis has been promoted to head of Scottrade Adviser Services, a division of the firm that offers institutional trading and custodial services to independent registered investment advisers (RIAs).
Reported by Nicole Bliman
Davis joined Scottrade in 2003, and when Scottrade Advisor Services was established in 2005, he became its business development manager working to recruit RIAs. Before joining Scottrade, Davis worked as an investment adviser, and in the retail brokerage and retail banking industries.
While Davis was business development manager, Scottrade saw the number of RIAs using its service grow by more than 44% from 2008 to 2009.
