PIMCO Ventures to ETFs

PIMCO filed documents with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch its first bond exchange-traded fund (ETF), according to published reports.

The bond ETF aims to replicate the Lehman Brothers Aggregate Index, according to Reuters.

PIMCO told Reuters the move into ETFs is part of an effort to complement its existing products to offer strategies to a broader set of investors.
