Pentegra President and CEO Announces Retirement

Robert C. Albanese, president and chief executive of Pentegra Retirement Services, announced his retirement.

Albanese’s retirement is effective June 30, 2013, and Pentegra’s board of directors has elected John E. Pinto, current executive vice president, as successor as well as a member of the board. In addition to his current role as executive vice president, Pinto is also the company’s COO.

Pinto joined Pentegra in 1991 and holds an MBA in finance from Sacred Heart University, as well as a B.S. in accounting and business administration from Kings College.

Main Management Partners With RPG Consultants

An alliance between RPG Consultants and Main Management LLC will enable plan sponsors to utilize RPG’s technology and Main Management’s portfolio management capabilities.

Main Mangement provides a suite of managed exchange-traded fund (ETF) solutions to the qualified retirement plan marketplace. The Main Management-RPG solution allows adviser access to managed strategies and investment models in defined benefit (DB) plans and defined contribution (DC) plans. Main Management will offer section 3(38) investment fiduciary services using RPG’s open architecture and recordkeeping platform, as well as its plan consulting, actuarial and administration services for all types of plans.

The integration will allow customized retirement plans—aiming to reduce fiduciary risk—in addition to a variety of allocation models and portfolio options, designed to create cost savings and transparency to plan sponsor and participants. It will also provide advisers with a tool with which clients can allocate their investments.
