MSIM Announces CIO of Global Fixed Income
Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) has announced the appointment of Michael Kushma as Chief Investment Officer of Global Fixed Income.

In this role, Kushma will oversee all of MSIM’s fixed income strategies.
According to the announcement, Kushma is currently Co-Head of MSIM’s Global and European fixed income team and has 23 years of investment experience. Since joining MSIM in 1995, he has helped to oversee the Global and European fixed income team which comprises 20 investors based in London, New York, and Tokyo and has approximately $25 billion in assets under management.
As of March 31, 2010, MSIM has approximately $56 billion of assets under management across a range of U.S., Global and European fixed income strategies spanning duration ranges, markets, and sectors.
