Lockton Announces Employee Benefits Practice Chief Consultant
Lissa Thomson has been promoted to senior vice president, chief
consultant for Lockton Benefits Group's Southern California operations.

In this newly created position, Thomson will serve a critical role in driving new business development and providing senior support to Lockton benefits consultants regionwide. She will collaborate with and serve as a resource to Lockton benefits consultants and accounting teams in analyzing benefits needs of clients and formulating creative strategies to evolve their programs, said Jim Czesak, chief operating officer of Lockton Benefits Group’s Southern California operations, in a press release.
Thomson will also continue in her present position as member of Lockton’s national Strategic Initiative Group.
According to the announcement, Thomson is a recognized benefits expert with more than 27 years serving in executive positions at some of the nation’s top consulting brokerage firms. She is frequently invited to speak at industry conferences and events including San Diego Compensation and Benefits Association and regional Risk Insurance Management Society (RIMS) meetings, University Conference Services’ National Health and Welfare Plan Management Conference, and the First Health National Conference.
Thomson will also continue in her present position as member of Lockton’s national Strategic Initiative Group.
