JMG Financial Adds Retirement Consultant

JMG Financial Group, Ltd. has appointed Thomas Harty as a retirement plan consultant.

Harty will be responsible for expanding the firm’s presence on the institutional level and garnering new business in the area of retirement plan consulting.   

According to a company announcement, prior to joining JMG, Harty served as a Senior Consultant for Plan Sponsor Advisors, Portfolio Evaluations Inc, Blue Prairie Group LLC and as Vice President of Institutional Sales for Fidelity Investments.

Nationwide Hires Rolph for Sales Job

Nationwide Financial Services has turned to Charles F. Rolph as Director of Advanced Sales.

Rolph will provide advisers with sales support in the areas of qualified retirement plans, employee welfare benefit plans, and executive compensation arrangements. Rolph will use his 17 years of experience as an Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) attorney to help advisers make sure that their clients are taking advantage of opportunities available, the company said in an announcement.

Rolph joins Nationwide after having concluded his private practice of employee benefits law in Indianapolis. His professional experience also includes time spent as an advanced sales and pension specialist with an Indianapolis-based life insurance company, and as general counsel of an actuarial and employee benefits consulting firm.

Rolph received his law degree from the University of Nebraska and his Master of Science in Financial Services degree from the American College.
