Janus Adds Adviser Sales Director in California
Janus Capital Group brought on Matthew Shortal to work with existing clients
and identify new business opportunities in the financial intermediary
sales channel.

As vice president and sales director in Janus’ Advisor Solutions group, Shortal is based in San Francisco and covers the Northern California region, the firm said. He reports to Keith Watts, executive director of Private Wealth and Trust.
Prior to joining Janus, Shortal was a financial adviser with Barclays, where he worked on a team that provided investment solutions to high-net-worth individuals, families, and foundations.
