Guttenberg Joins Bracewell & Giuliani ERISA Practice

Jeleen Guttenberg joined the Bracewell & Giuliani LLP law firm, which specializes in employee benefits, ERISA and Executive Compensation matters.

Formerly with Skadden Arps, Guttenberg has experience with fiduciary responsibility provisions and prohibited transaction rules of ERISA. Her clients have included employers, managers of hedge funds and private equity funds, as well as major banks and financial institutions, issuers, and underwriters involved in investment management, financings, structured finance transactions and securitizations, the company said.

She also assists clients with the design and implementation of executive compensation programs including equity compensation, deferred compensation, and employment and severance arrangements, providing counsel on tax compliance (including new Section 409A of the Internal Revenue Code), securities law compliance regarding proxy disclosure of executive compensation, as well as compliance with recently developing requirements including those associated with the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

Moore Comes Onboard at CPI

Frank Moore is the newest retirement plan consultant in the Birmingham, Alabama, office of CPI Qualified Plan Consultants.

Moore will work with CPI clients in Alabama and Tennessee.  Together with retirement plan sponsors and their financial advisers, Moore will help them design and develop qualified and non-qualified retirement plan programs, the company reported today. 

Moore has worked in the retirement and financial services industries for more than 20 years.  He received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance and Human Resource Management from the University of Montevallo.
