Castle Rock to Host 408(b)(2) Workshop

Castle Rock Investment Company is hosting a working lunch to discuss new fee disclosure rules.

The company is accepting registrations for its complementary lunch seminar, “408(b)(2) Workshop for Responsible Plan Fiduciaries,” to be held May 10 at Maggiano’s Little Italy in the Denver Tech Center.  

Castle Rock Investment Company will review the 408(b)(2) regulation changes and provide a checklist to help plan sponsors track the new disclosures. Oppenheimer Funds will also present a market “weather” update and information on Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Department of Labor (DOL) hot-button issues.

Retirement Revolution Names Northeast Sales Leader

The recordkeeper and custodial service provider Retirement Revolution named Gary Crane business development officer for the northeast.

Crane, who previously worked at ExpertPlan Inc., will be in charge of sales for the northeast territory for Retirement Revolution products. He has experience providing design services for retirement plans, as well as technical consulting services.  

Crane has a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University, completed the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor Program from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and attended fi360 to become an Accredited Investment Fiduciary.  In addition, he holds Licenses 7, 63 and 65, Fixed & Variable Annuities, as well as the California State Insurance License for Life and Health.
