BPV Creates Chief Distribution Officer Role

Francis (Frank) M. Gregory III was appointed to the new position of chief distribution officer at BPV Capital Management.

Gregory will be responsible for overseeing sales and strategic business relationships across all distribution channels.

Gregory has 15 years of industry experience in financial services. Previously, he served as partner and director of retirement platforms for Lord Abbett & Co. Most recently, he was head of FMG Consulting, where he worked with investment management firms and hedge funds to assist their entrance into and strategic approaches to the defined contribution and sub-advised insurance markets. He also consulted with investment committees on fiduciary responsibilities and compliance. Gregory reports to Mike West, senior partner and CEO.

Gregory holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Villanova University and a juris doctor from Duke University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina. He holds designations as a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF). He speaks frequently at industry events.

Guardian Adds LPL Worksite Solutions

A Worksite platform integration lets LPL advisers and reps offer plan sponsors and plan participants access to The Guardian Choice and The Guardian Advantage products.

The Worksite platform features solutions that will enable retirement plan sponsors and financial professionals to address the needs of plan participants throughout their financial lives, from the date of hire, to separation and beyond, via Worksite’s Employee Transition and Engagement Solutions. Plan sponsors can efficiently enroll employees into retirement plans and assist them during other transition times, such as separation from the firm.

Components of the program include customized financial education support services, asset rollover assistance, education and support for separating and terminated participants, and personalized strategies to meet retirement goals.
