CAPTRUST Adds Adviser in Southeast

Drew McCorkle joined the Atlanta office of CAPTRUST Financial Advisors as vice president and financial adviser. 

McCorkle’s scope is providing retirement plan advisory and consulting services to corporate fiduciaries. An experienced Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) lawyer, he also will add to the firm’s resources for helping clients with fiduciary governance issues.

McCorkle comes to CAPTRUST from Hewitt EnnisKnupp, where he was a partner. Previously, he was a partner at Arthur Andersen, and a law partner and trial attorney in Washington, District of Columbia. He is a frequent speaker and writer on qualified plans and employee benefits.

McCorkle holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and management from Davis and Elkins College, and a juris doctor from George Washington University. 

New Global Products Head for American Century

American Century Investments appointed Glen Casey as senior vice president and global head of products.

Under this newly created position, Casey will lead global product strategy, management and development for all investment disciplines and across all distribution channels. He reports to Mark Killen, chief marketing officer at American Century.

Casey joined American Century after working at Goldman Sachs Asset Management for 17 years, where he served as the head of product and portfolio strategy for U.S. third-party distribution. He also held roles within Goldman Sachs’ investment management division, including director of strategic lead management and cross-selling, as well as senior product and strategic planning roles for Asia markets. Prior to his tenure at Goldman Sachs, Casey worked in senior consulting and analysis roles for Cerulli Associates and Fidelity Investments.

Casey earned a bachelor’s of science degree in accounting from Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts. He also holds a master’s of science degree in finance from Boston College.
