Cassidy Retirement Group Hires Consulting Actuary

David J. Kershner, FSA, EA joined Cassidy Retirement Group (CRG) as a consulting actuary.

Formerly a senior consulting actuary with Towers Watson and partner with Ernst & Young, Kershner brings more than 25 years of experience working with retirement plan sponsors throughout the U.S. His experience includes all aspects of pension and retirement plan consulting, especially planning and analysis in funding and expense valuations, multi-scenario projections, plan design studies, mergers and acquisitions, plan governance and union negotiations.

Kershner’s professional credentials include Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), Enrolled Actuary (EA) and member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He holds a BA in mathematics from York University in Toronto.

Baden Retirement Plan Services Hires VP

James D. Racine joined Baden Retirement Plan Services as vice president.
 

Racine will be located in Baden’s Fort Wayne, Indiana, office and will be responsible for day-to-day operations and growth of the business.

He has more than 25 years experience in the financial service industry. His experience includes leadership roles at Lincoln Financial Group and VALIC, where he focused on driving growth in their retirement plan businesses.

Racine earned his bachelor’s degree in computer technology from Purdue University and holds a number of industry designations including CLU, ChFC, FLMI and NASD 6 and 26 licenses.
