Great-West Appoints Internal Wholesaler

 

Great-West Retirement Services appointed Michael Burke as an internal wholesaler covering the Los Angeles and San Diego areas.

In this new position, Burke is responsible for providing support to Great-West’s sales force in those markets. Burke is based in the company’s Colorado home office and reports to Kim Marquardt.

Prior to joining Great-West, Burke was director of retirement services at Capital Investment Management Inc. Previously, he was an internal wholesaler at Great-West Retirement Services and spent seven years in various client service positions with The Hartford Retirement Plans Group.

Burke earned a bachelor’s degree from the University at Albany. He holds NASD Series 6 and 63 licenses and life insurance licenses in Colorado and California.

The Standard Appoints Vice President

Standard Retirement Services Inc. (The Standard) appointed Rob Baumgarten as vice president of Field Service.

He will be responsible for managing The Standard’s field client relationship management teams throughout the country.

Baumgarten has worked at The Standard for 14 years and previously served in sales leadership and management roles. Most recently, he served as a vice president of Field Sales, managing The Standard’s field sales team. In his new role, Baumgarten will also lead The Standard’s participant enrollment and education efforts.

Baumgarten has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado in Boulder. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities licenses. He will be based out of The Standard’s Denver sales and service office.
