New York Life Names Senior RM for Taft-Hartley Market

Arthur Georgantas joined New York Life Retirement Plan Services as vice president and senior relationship manager in the Taft-Hartley market.

Georgantas joins a team of relationship managers headed by Joan Driscoll, New York Life Retirement Plan Services’ managing director of client strategy. He is dedicated to Taft-Hartley clients and reports to James Byrne, Taft-Hartley practice leader.    

Georgantas previously worked as a Taft-Hartley relationship manager for Putnam Investments and Mercer. He holds a bachelor’s of science in business management from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.

Morningstar Names President of Global Investment Management Division

Thomas Idzorek was promoted to president of Morningstar’s Global Investment Management Division.

 

Idzorek, who previously served as chief investment officer of Morningstar Investment Management, now oversees the company’s investment advisory, retirement solutions and investment management operations in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Idzorek has experience in lifetime asset allocation, target-date funds, retirement income solutions, fund-of-funds optimization, risk budgeting, returns-based style analysis and performance analysis.

Idzorek holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Arizona State University, a master’s degree in business administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
