Folio Offers MarketGlide ETF Target-Date Portfolios

Online brokerage Folio Investing has added Business Logic Corp.'s MarketGlide Folios to its inventory of brand-name investment strategies from third-party market professionals.

A press release said the MarketGlide Folios are based on the MarketGlide Target Date Indexes, which track the investment strategies of the industry’s leading providers of target-date funds. The MarketGlide Folios include nine portfolios that use exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for investors who project retirement dates ranging from 2010 to 2050. They are available to individual investors and to advisers.

Business Logic Corp. provides investment products and solutions for institutions and individual investors with its PlanOutcome software, MarketGlide index solutions, and Likeassets.com investor Web site.

Janus Adds Adviser Sales Director in California

Janus Capital Group brought on Matthew Shortal to work with existing clients and identify new business opportunities in the financial intermediary sales channel.

As vice president and sales director in Janus’ Advisor Solutions group, Shortal is based in San Francisco and covers the Northern California region, the firm said. He reports to Keith Watts, executive director of Private Wealth and Trust.

Prior to joining Janus, Shortal was a financial adviser with Barclays, where he worked on a team that provided investment solutions to high-net-worth individuals, families, and foundations.
