McDonald Joins New York Life Retirement Income Unit
New York Life Insurance Company has appointed Allyson McDonald as senior vice president in its Retirement Income Security (RIS) operation, to lead relationship management for Third-Party Distribution.

A news release said McDonald reports to Mike Coffey, senior vice president in charge of Third-Party Distribution.
McDonald and her team are responsible for developing and enhancing the relationships with the top third-party partners who distribute both New York Life annuities and MainStay mutual funds, the company said. Additionally, she is responsible for leading New York Life’s internal sales desk capability.
Prior to joining New York Life, McDonald was responsible for development and communications strategy at the Clinton Foundation.
