RiverFront Adds Regional Sales Consultant

In a continuing effort to grow its business development team, Richmond, Virginia-based RiverFront Investment Group has hired Rutherfoord Ferguson.

Ferguson has been consulting advisers on their clients’ financial plans and practice management solutions for more than ten years.   He’s worked for Wealthcare Capital Management and Wachovia Securities.  He will report to Stuart Porterfield, Regional Director of the Business Development Group.

“His tenure in the business and strong background in serving the complex needs of financial advisers is exactly what RiverFront was looking for as we continue to expand our Business Development efforts,” said Pete Quinn, Founding Partner and Chief Operating Officer.

Russell Appoints Reardon for Consultant Relations Post

Russell Investments named Mike Reardon as consultant relations regional director in its U.S. institutional consultant relations practice.
Reported by

Reardon, who has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, joins a team of six other consultant relations professionals at Russell. He will be responsible for strengthening Russell’s relationships with the consultant community in the eastern United States.

Reardon will communicate regularly with consultants to outline the solutions Russell offers to institutional investors.

Reardon, who is based in Boston, joins Russell from Congress Asset Management where he was vice president, head of consultant relations. Prior to Congress Asset Management, he was the senior client service officer for the Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board.
