USI Consulting Names President of USI Advisors

USI Consulting Group has promoted Kenneth Hyne to Investment Advisory Services practice leader and president of USI Advisors, Inc.

Hyne was previously a vice president and senior investment strategist of USI Advisors, Inc., according to an announcement. In his new role, he will oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of investment strategies for defined benefit and defined contribution clients that include corporations, municipalities, hospitals, and endowments.

USI Consulting Group is a provider of defined contribution and defined benefit plan consulting services, along with health and welfare, defined contribution, and defined benefit administration services. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of USI Holdings Corporation (a Goldman Sachs Capital Partners Company).

Russell Taps Two for ETF Posts

Russell Investments has appointed James Polisson as managing director of Russell’s global ETF business and Andrew Arenberg as managing director of global ETF distribution.

A Russell news release said the two men joined the firm in mid-January and will be based in San Francisco.

Polisson most previously served as BGI’s chief marketing officer, with responsibilities that included BGI’s iShares global business. At BGI since 1998, he was head of Global Operations Risk Management for two years before joining the iShares business.

Arenberg most recently worked as a managing director in BGI’s global eBusiness, and he served as managing director of channel marketing for BGI for six years. Prior to joining BGI, he served on the corporate strategy team and in the institutional business at Charles Schwab & Co.
