TCW Welcomes New Head of Institutional Distribution and Marketing

Carieri brings more than 30 years of experience working with pension plans and other institutional investors to his new role. He will be responsible for all marketing activities related to institutional investing and will report to David Lippman, president and CEO of TCW. 

Carieri served as a senior client service executive at Western Asset Management Company (WAMCO), where he was responsible for the Public Fund and Taft Hartley markets. Carieri also served as the senior investment officer for the Los Angeles County Employee Retirement Association (LACERA) and co-head of high-yield bond trading at Fidelity Investments. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from Saint Francis College, and earned his MBA at the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
