PLANADVISER Adviser Value Survey

The 2025 PLANADVISER Adviser Value survey is based on responses collected through the 2024 PLANSPONSOR DC Survey, fielded from August 2024 through November 2024. Of the 3,172 total respondents, 1,190 plan sponsors indicated they work with an adviser, while 275 reported that they do not. In February 2025 and March 2025, 82 of the plan sponsors who do use an adviser completed a supplemental survey that focused on adviser-specific topics, such as adviser type, length of relationship and service satisfaction rating. These additional questions provide broader industry context and were not used in the direct comparisons between sponsors who use an adviser and those who do not.
