Schwab Rebates Managed Portfolio Program Fee

Effective immediately, Charles Schwab is rebating the program fee on their professionally managed mutual fund portfolios.
The rebate, on Schwab Managed Portfolios, is available to investors who bring $25,000 or more in new assets into a new or existing retirement account.
This includes retirement rollover accounts, traditional IRAs, Roth IRAs, and SEP IRAs for individuals. The fee rebate provides an “opportunity to experience Schwab’s professional money management’ with no program fees for the first year, according to a press release.
Schwab will rebate the Schwab Managed Portfolio program fees for the entire first year for this offer. Clients that deposit at least $25,000 into an IRA during the promotional period (01/01/08 – 8/31/08) and enroll in Schwab Managed Portfolios will automatically receive quarterly program fee rebates.
