Franklin Templeton Expands ETF Offerings With New International Strategies
Franklin Templeton broadened its actively managed lineup of exchange-traded funds by introducing two new international equity strategies: the Putnam International Stock ETF and the Templeton International Insights ETF.
The Putnam International Stock fund, managed by Putnam Investments, employs a bottom-up investment approach aimed at identifying high-quality companies with sustainable competitive advantages in international markets. The fund seeks to outperform the MSCI All Country World ex-US Growth Index through strategic stock selection and robust risk management.
ISS STOXX Unveils Real Asset Climate Solutions for Investors
ISS Sustainability Solutions, the sustainable investment arm of ISS STOXX, launched an integrated suite of real asset climate solutions tools aimed at empowering investors to comprehend and address the potential impacts of climate change on their investment portfolios. PLANSPONSOR is also owned by ISS STOXX.
This approach combines ISS STOXX’s expertise in physical risk, carbon footprint and scenario alignment analyses with advanced geospatial asset-level data to enhance risk identification and management, ultimately fostering climate-resilient investment strategies.
The suite caters to a diverse clientele that includes institutional investors, banks, insurers and reinsurers, addressing various needs from risk management and regulatory compliance to investment due diligence.
Aberdeen Investment Expands Active ETF Lineup
Aberdeen Investments converted two of its mutual funds into active exchange-traded funds. The abrdn Ultra Short Municipal Income Active ETF will seek high after-tax current income, according to the company, while the abrdn International Small Cap Active ETF seeks to identify opportunities in international small-cap companies.
Following the conversions, Aberdeen’s ETF franchise surpassed $18 billion in assets under management.
Health-E Commerce Expands Weight Loss Offerings on FSA and HSA Store
Health-E Commerce, the parent company of FSA Store and HSA Store, announced an expansion of its weight loss medication options, now featuring new telehealth services from MEDVi and Remedy Meds. The initiative broadens the selection available to users of flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts, allowing customers to access a range of trusted prescription medications.
In addition to MEDVi and Remedy Meds, customers can also access weight loss solutions from Shed and LifeMD, enhancing Health-E Commerce’s commitment to supporting healthy weight management. Each of these telehealth services offers unique features, from personalized coaching to comprehensive, clinician-led plans.
PlanPort Expands Services to Support Defined Benefit Plans and High-Volume Document Processing
PlanPort, a retirement plan document analysis company, introduced support for defined benefit plans, aiming to assist a complex segment of the retirement industry by offering advanced data extraction and document review capabilities.
PlanPort’s new functionality allows it to accurately process documents for a variety of defined benefit plans, including traditional pensions and cash balance plans, as well as the intricate legal documents associated with governmental plans. The new features are expected to streamline the onboarding and compliance review processes for administrators, actuaries and financial advisers who oversee diverse retirement portfolios.
