Lincoln Hires Managing Partner
Lincoln Financial Network, the retail sales and planning affiliate of Lincoln Financial Group, appointed Greg Smith as managing principal of Lincoln Financial Advisers Corporation.

Smith’s responsibilities at Lincoln include leading efforts to grow the firm’s footprint and market share in both retail and wholesale distribution categories, predominately in the Minneapolis region.
Before joining Lincoln, Smith worked as senior vice president and channel head at Crump Life Insurance Services in Schaumberg, Illinois. He also held similar sales-oriented positions at Sun Life Financial in Boston, Massachusetts; ING in Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Lincoln Financial Distributors in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Smith holds a bachelor’s of business administration in banking and finance from Morehouse College, as well as a master’s of business administration from the University of Chicago.
