ftwilliam.com Releases NQDC Plan Document

ftwilliam.com, a plan document and government forms software provider, released its 409A non-qualified deferred compensation plan document.

A news release said the document has been drafted in compliance with the final 409A regulations and can be used by plan sponsors to meet the January 1, 2009, compliance deadline for most plans.

According to the company, the offering includes an Adoption Agreement, Basic Plan Document, Plan Description, election forms, sample Rabbi Trust, in-service distribution form, and more. Features of the ftwilliam.com document preparation software include context sensitive help buttons and online error checking.

The 409A plan document is available for $275/plan, or the company offers a Non-Qualified Plan Document Subscription for $775/year, which includes 457(b) and 409A.

DWS Scudder Rebrands as DWS Investments

DWS Scudder changed its name to DWS Investments, completing a rebranding started two years ago to align with Deutsche Bank Asset Management (DeAM).

The integration of DWS Investments with that of its global mutual fund business brings together the firm’s U.S., European, Asian, and Latin American mutual fund brands under the DWS Investments name, according to a release.

“The name change to DWS Investments reflects the next step in the evolution of our business,’ said Axel Schwarzer, CEO of DWS Investments U.S., in the release. “It completes the rebranding effort started two years ago and our alignment to Deutsche Bank’s global asset management platform.’

The firm will roll out both a new tagline—“Reshaping Investing’—and Web site (www.DWS-Investments.com) in the U.S. The company said the new site will represent the “two-click philosophy’ to better cater to advisers and clients, and will feature interactive charts, audio, and video.
